These terms govern your use of loanloon.ca. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. The site is operated for Canadian users and is governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

1. What this service is

loanloon.ca is a free matching and comparison service. We are not a lender, a bank, a broker of record, a credit counsellor or a debt adviser. We do not make loans, set rates, charge interest, or make credit decisions. Any credit product you obtain is provided by a third party under an agreement between you and that third party.

2. No advice

Content on this site is general information. It is not financial, legal, tax, accounting or credit advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. For decisions with significant consequences, consult a licensed professional — an insolvency trustee for insolvency, a lawyer for legal questions, a licensed mortgage professional for mortgage advice.

3. Accuracy and sourcing

We take care to cite primary sources and to date each published value. Rates, fees, caps and eligibility criteria are set by others and change without notice, so a figure published here may be out of date by the time you read it. Always confirm the current terms in writing with the lender before you sign. We do not warrant that any value on this site is current or complete.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information in any request you submit. A lender decides on the basis of what you tell it, and inaccurate information can amount to fraud.
• Satisfy yourself that you can repay any credit you take, before you take it.
• Read the lender's agreement, disclosure and privacy policy before signing.
• Do not use this site for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer it.

5. Third parties

Links to lenders, partners, regulators and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, terms, or the way they handle your information. Following an affiliate link may result in a commission being paid to us.

6. Availability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, including any page or calculator.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, loanloon.ca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, income, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of the site or of any product obtained through it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under applicable consumer protection legislation.

8. Intellectual property

The text, layout, code and calculators on this site are protected by copyright. You may read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, or use its content to train or populate a competing service, without written permission.

We may revise these terms. The version published here at the time of your use applies, and the review date below is updated when it changes.
