What to write about

| A factual correction | The page URL, the sentence or figure in question, and the primary source that contradicts it. Corrections with a citation are actioned fastest. |
| A data question | The page URL and the value you are querying. Every published value carries its publisher and as-of date, so we can usually point you to the exact publication. |
| A privacy request | See the privacy policy first: it explains what this site does and does not collect, and how to reach the lender or partner that received your request. |
| A complaint about a lender | We cannot intervene in a lender's decision and we do not hold your application. Complaints about a federally regulated institution go to the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada; complaints about a provincially licensed lender go to that province's regulator. |
What we cannot do by email
- We cannot tell you whether you will be approved, or for how much.
- We cannot change a lender's decision, rate or terms.
- We cannot give financial, legal or tax advice on your circumstances.
- We cannot look up an application: requests are submitted to the lender or partner, not held by us.
Complaints about this website
If you believe something on loanloon.ca is inaccurate, misleading or in breach of Canadian consumer protection law, write to hello@loanloon.ca with the page URL and your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada publishes the complaints route for federally regulated financial institutions, and each province runs a consumer protection office for provincially licensed lenders. Both are linked from our about page and from every loan page.
